A close up shot of a Celtic cross headstone surrounded by the purple flowers of common hedgenettle (Stachys officinalis – Betonica Officinalis) also known as betony, purple betony, wood betony, bishopwort, or bishop’s wort. This shot was taken in St Giles graveyard, in Essex which is now a nature reserve. These plants were traditionally planted in cemetery’s to “keep ghosts away”. 4K locked tripod shot. (Ref. Misc 204)
