On a summers day a narrowboat navigates its way across the Chirk Aqueduct, which straddles the border of England and Wales. The aqueduct was completed in 1801, spans 710 ft (220m) and is comprised of 10 circular masonry arches some 70 ft (21 m) above the River Ceiriog below.
